More UB
April was great to me. I've got my Foxwoods trip and the hold 'em games at UB to thank for my best live month ever, plus I won my Series seat. I'm in the process of moving so I may not update much in the next few weeks but I'll make up for it with plenty of writing from the Series in June and July.
Some crazy hands from the 50-100 game at UB to tide you over:
- I wasn't involved in this one, but it's well worth telling anyway. Full game. UTG raises, only SB calls. Flop A52, SB checks, UTG bets, SB raises, UTG 3-bets, SB caps, UTG calls. Turn 4, SB bets, UTG raises, SB calls. River 3, putting a wheel on board, SB checks, UTG bets, SB calls. SB shows 22, UTG shows QJo. Nice.
- A loose player raises UTG, I decide to flat call in the cutoff with JcTc, blinds fold. Flop Ac Kc 3d, UTG bets, I call planning to raise the turn no matter what comes. Turn 8c, UTG bets, I raise, UTG 3-bets, I cap, UTG calls. River Kh, UTG bets, I call, UTG shows QdQs. Name one hand that queens beat that will call a bet on the river. Having trouble?
- I think this one is my favorite of this post. Four-handed, I raise on the button with K6o, only BB calls. Flop 843 rainbow, BB checks, I bet, BB calls. Turn 3, BB checks, I bet, BB calls. River T, BB checks, I check, BB shows 92s (one of his suit flopped). Did I miss a bet?
UB is the only place I've ever played above 30-60 online. I wonder if the games at these limits on other sites are good too. Anyone know?

absolute has 50/100 which is pretty soft prima's 50/100 and 100/200 is pretty wild.
Wow, I am sweating the game right now and "brian1648" has got to be the biggest donk ever. That guy is guaranteed to go broke. How does someone like that acquire money?

Yeah, I got some of it. My favorite hand was the one where he three-bet me from the SB with 63o and made a straight.
How about the one where he was in for multiple bets preflop with j7 and he made three 7's against your obvious overpair? aaagh.
I saw you kept trying to felt him but he would catch something and come back to life. I assume he did go broke eventually. Is he the worst you've seen so far at the 50, or are there others this bad?
what limit do you play at foxwoods?
the last time i was up there i played 50-100 and 75-150. why do you ask?
